December 2015 could be one of
IDEAs For Uganda’s best month since 2012. We are glad to inform our dear
volunteers that three of our chapters won mini-grants from IDEAs For Us. These
include the Skylight Kiburara chapter,
IDEAS For Makerere university and Katwe Kabatoro consortium. The successful projects include Tree nursery
bed, Urban Micro-gardening and Cage
Fishing respectively.

It is upon this background that
on the 7th of December, IDEAS For Uganda organized a joint study
tour and an orientation/planning meeting for the leaders of the above mentioned
chapters.

Among the study areas visited was
the Masanafu Tree Nursery in Kampala, the Micro-gardening Demo site in Gayaza
and the National Fishery Research Insititute in Kajjansi, Wakiso.
