District has starting with September, 2016 launched massive tree planting
alongside community sensitization on Climate Change.

The tree planting has been supported by IDEASForUs through
IDEASForUganda and this will leave Kiburara and Kisinga sub county at large
afforestated in abid to contributing to the interventions aimed at reducing the
effects of Climate Change.

Over 20000 tree seedlings will be supplied and planted by
Schools, Churches, individual community members and business owners at mainly
Kiburara Trading Centre.
